I present to you my third-year project at the HEAJ. The goal was to create a Survival Horror within 3 weeks as a team.

The game is played in 2 different phases. The first one, you need to find planks to barricade windows to prevent the killer from entering. The second, you need to hide from him. You win if you manage to survive 10 minutes. We were 3 Game Artists working on the environment. My work on this project was to create furniture to place in the house. The assets followed a classical workflow, which includes modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and integration in Unreal. Since we didn't have much time, we decided to make only low-poly models. We chose to make a stylized environment as it fit well with our skills. We used the Stylized filter in Painter to keep things cohesive in the environment. The shader also emphasised the nice paint effect and added a black outline. I worked in collaboration with the Game Designers to ensure their vision was well executed. I first did the blocking of my assets and imported them in Unreal to check the size and their position in the scene. Because the player and the enemy needed to have enough space to move around. Also, some assets needed a certain height to prevent the enemy from viewing the player when he is crouched.
